This email is sent out to announce Hodges Hobbies "Glider Day". Glider Day will be next Saturday, June 28. What is Glider Day? It will be an informal gathering of pilots of all types of gliders and sailplanes. How did this get started? I think by Richard Scarborough. He has been flying a Gentle Lady with .049 power but just built a hand launched glider. This new glider uses the discus launch technique and Richard has been having a ball with it. Other guys have seen it fly and are interested and the talk on the forum suggested a day to get together and fly gliders. So here we are, next Saturday. If you have a glider of any type, or are interested, come on out.
