Yesterday's Stick contest enjoyed a good turnout. Weather was a little cool to start off but the wind died and it got comfortable once we got started. We had two new guys from the Hilltop Fliers club in Loganville attend and they did well. Brady Woods won B-Class and Michael Arnold finished 4th.

I'm hearing rumors of a New Year's Eve impromptu fly-in here at Hodges Hobbies Wednesday, December 31. Sounds like quite a few will be showing up to fly.
Also, on New Year's Day, the annual Chili Fly will be held at Mark Murdock's Pecan Patch Airstrip just north of Griffin. This is always a great event with a lot of hot flying and a lot of hot chili. If you Google Pecan Patch Airstrip, you can come up with an address.
