We are having a Senior Pattern Association contest this weekend. This will be going on all day tomorrow and Sunday morning.
We are having Glider Day July 9. Bring any type sailplane or glider and have a fun, relaxed day of flying.
We have the new Blade 450 helis in stock. PNP and RTF.
We also have the new .46 size Stinger ARF in stock.
The Ultra Micro Sbach will be in next Tuesday.

The Warbirds Over Georgia event last weekend was a huge success. We had 82 pilots that did a lot of flying with some beautiful warbirds. Thanks to Chris Joiner and his wife for putting together a great event.
Someone attending the warbird event left a Sullivan Dynatron starter. It is connected to two 12 volt gell cells that are in a small carrying caddy. If you miss it, give us a call.
This weekend we are hosting an IMAC contest here at the shop. This is a Saturday, Sunday event.

It's been hot and dry at Hodges Hobbies. It's been about 6 weeks since we've had any rain. We've been busy flying....SEFF, Pop Curtis, Top Gun, Joe Nall, a warbird fly-in in Virginia last weekend. We've got the Peach Pattern Classic going on this weekend. They will be flying tomorrow and about a half day Sunday. Then next weekend we host the Giant Scale Warbird Association event Warbirds Over Georgia. This is one of our best events having over 100 pilots registered last year. This event starts on Thursday, June 9, and goes through Saturday, June 11. Lynn will be serving lunch all three days and we are planning a BBQ chicken supper for Friday night.
Then June 18 and 19 we host the South Georgia IMAC contest followed by a SPA contest on June 25 and 26.

Our annual Pop Curtis Memorial Fly-In will be held this weekend at Hodges Hobbies. The dates are May 6 and 7, Friday and Saturday. The Kentucky crowd is already on site getting in a lot of flying time, especially with their Zoom Zooms. Mr. Harrell will be serving his world famous BBQ lunches both Friday and Saturday. Looks as if the weather will be great for the weekend.
The Joe Nall fly-in is all next week. Held in Woodruff, SC, this is the largest model airplane fly-in in the world.
After months of being on backorder, we have finally received some Hangar 9 Ultra Stick 40s.
We also just received the Parkzone Ultra Micro Corsair.
